I never thought I would say this, but someone I have always really appreciated has now really annoyed me, and I don't want to talk to them.
It is God's way to be completely authentic.
Jesus was very real with the Pharisees, calling them snakes.
"You snakes! You brood of vipers! How will you escape being condemned to hell?"
Mathew 23: 33
And I am definitely not saying that this person is a snake.
What I am suggesting is that, and God has shown me this, we can and should speak the truth.
Far from destroying any kind of relationship, a timely word of truth can actually rescue it, and intimacy is formed by honest communication.
We may sometimes doubt whether or not we should cut off communication with a certain person, either temporarily or permanently, or speak Jesus style harsh words to them.
However, God has given me permission.
Find the God within.
Sometimes we just need space from a certain person.
It could be 3 minutes, 3 months, or 3 years!
